Inspection of the laptop revealed extensive liquid-related corrosion and oxidation damage on the internal PCB (printed circuit board), particularly around the ribbon cable connector and surrounding circuitry. The buildup of corrosive residue has compromised critical electrical pathways and connector contacts, resulting in intermittent power and communication failures within the system. This level of contamination is consistent with moisture intrusion or liquid exposure and ultimately caused the laptop to become non-operational, leaving the customer unable to access their device or continue working. Due to the severity of the corrosion, the affected components may require professional board-level repair or replacement to restore reliable operation.
